With this action, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the European Union for the first time foster specific industries, aiming to enhance the activity of tens of thousands of scientists - the professions.
The aid provided relating to the strengthening of self-employed to improve the quality of their services with the procurement of equipment / computers and peripheral equipment, special software and a standard modern technology and specialized equipment.
The aid provided in the following categories related professions:
Doctors
Dentists
Engineers
Geotechnical (this category includes geologists, agronomists, foresters and ichthyologist)
Lawyers
Notaries
Accountants
Economists / Consultants
Aid recipients are scientists - professionals who belong to these categories and who:
be established in Greek territory
to operate in a legal form of sole proprietorship
keep books B or C class and have at least one (1) approved accounting (at least for the financial year 2009 - fiscal year 2008)
Have a valid VAT number, active
have made first start of activity for the profession before 1/1/2009
Have a tax clearance
potential beneficiaries who have done business before beginning 1i/1/2004 must have average gross revenues from the personal profession during the last two years higher than that shown by the case.
From this condition excludes potential beneficiaries whose tax domicile and investment location are islands with a population of 3,100 inhabitants or areas described in Annex C of relative MD and freelancers - people with disabilities (A. MA).
