Program "Strengthening Women's Entrepreneurship '
The program is implemented under the Operational Program "Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship" (OP II) and is included in priority 2, which seeks to extend outward entrepreneurship as a strong and sufficient conditions for production in the country for goods and services with high added value incorporating knowledge and innovation with quality and environmental sensitivity. The program aims to facilitate - through financial aid - the creation of new enterprises by female entrepreneurs (Business Women's) in almost all areas of business. The public cost of the program funded by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund - ERDF) and the Greek government. Interim Management Agency (EFD) for Issue of Tender is the General Secretariat for Industry - Management Small Business. Interim Management Agency (EFD) for the Evaluation, Management and Monitoring of Implementation of the Program is the Hellenic Organisation of Small - Medium Enterprises and Handicraft SA (EOMMEX SA) Participation in the program are women born from 01/01/1954 until and 31/12/1991, are unemployed, employed or freelancers who had no business from 01/01/2008 up to date pre-publication program (04/03/2009). The grant proposals selected will be 50% of the total approved budget (60% on islands less than 5,000 residents in fire-stricken prefectures of Ilia, Messinia, Lakonia, Arkadia, Euboea, around Egialias and selected areas of the county of Cephalonia and Magnesia classified as fire-stricken). The total subsidized budget proposal can not exceed 200.000 € for companies in the manufacturing and the recycling / reduction of pollution, 100.000 € for business services and tourism and 80.000 € for commercial companies with a minimum for all cases of 30.000 €. The terms of the program (requirements, documentation, criteria, selection procedures, etc.) detailed in the Regulations implementing the program. Proposals will be submitted electronically (via internet) after 15/06/2009 and until 14/09/2009. The electronic submission form will soon be available.
