This benefit is a daily allowance paid to the Insured if admitted as an inpatient with at least one night in hospital due to accident or illness.
If surgery in organized surgery or treatment in intensive care unit daily allowance doubled.
If the insured has chosen to cover Allowance Recovery then the Corporation shall pay the allowance if the medical opinion remained at home for recovery.
The amount of Benefit Recovery is equal to 50% of the Hospital Benefit is paid and for up to three times the number of days of hospitalization to a maximum of sixty (60) days.
